You Were Born Worthy
by: Jac Kalea Patio, HHP
I want to say something to you plainly today, right at the top, before anything else:
Because you are a soul, birthed in the light, you are worthy. Period. The end.
There is no other explanation needed. No qualifier. No "once I heal a little more" or "once I finally get it right." Worth isn't something you earn here. It came with you. It's written into the very DNA of being a soul.
And yet — so many of you share with me that you’re carrying the opposite belief so deep in your bones that you don't even hear it as a belief anymore. It just sounds like the truth about you. So let's talk about it, because spirit has been nudging me hard on this one.

"I'm Not Worthy" Is the Biggest Lie on This Planet
I'll be direct with you, because I love you too much to be gentle about this particular thing.
I'm not worthy. I'm not enough. I don't deserve that. — this is complete and total BS. It is the single biggest lie ever sold to humanity.
And here's the cruelty of it: the lie says that because you are here, you're somehow not worthy. That being human, being flawed, being in a body, having a messy past somehow disqualifies you. That's backwards. You are here because you're a soul. And because you're a soul, you're worthy. That's the ultimate, absolute truth of Source.
I want you to understand where this lie comes from, because it changes how you fight it. It isn't yours. It was handed to you. It's what the density of this world tells us so that our power can be siphoned off — because a soul who believes they're unworthy stops asking. Stops reaching. Stops receiving. And a soul who stops receiving is a soul whose light stays small and manageable.
So when that voice says "you're not worth it" — recognize it for what it is. That's not your soul talking. Your soul has never once said that to you.

What Worthiness Actually Unlocks
Here's what the lie of unworthiness really takes from you: it takes away your permission to have.
When we talk about worth, most people jump straight to money. But I want to widen this out, because the riches your soul is meant to have here are so much bigger than coin and dollar:
the riches of love
the riches of safety and protection
the riches of trust in another person
the riches of freedom
the riches of health in your body
the riches of light that surrounds you, sings to you, and lifts you up
You are allowed to have these things. Not in some far-off, once-you've-suffered-enough future. Now. These aren't ego-state wants — these are the basic foundations and true desires your soul came here to experience. Food, shelter, connection, love, support, joy. Whatever is right for the character your soul came here to play, you're allowed to have.
The fear of having something for yourself? That's the lie doing its work.

"I Know I'm Worthy — So Why Can't I Receive?"
This is one of the most common things people bring to me, and I want to honor it, because it's real: "Jac, I understand I'm worthy. I get it intellectually. So why is nothing coming in?"
If that's you, you're not failing. There's simply something in your energy still blocking the reception — and it's almost always one of these: an old fear pattern, ancestral or karmic weight, past pain projecting itself into your future, fear of change, fear of trusting someone, fear of being loved. And yes — sometimes even fear of happiness itself. That one is more common than you'd think.
There's another piece too, and it's very practical. Energy has to travel all the way down into your lower chakras — your solar plexus, sacral, and root — for you to actually feel like you can have things here in physical reality. Your team may be sending abundance toward you, but if it never lands in the lower body, receiving stays hard. It stays a nice idea instead of a lived experience.
The most beautiful thing about your energy is that it can always shift. It can be cleared, transformed, repatterned. Nothing about your current blocks is permanent.

On Not Letting Source All the Way In
I'll share something tender from my own path, because I think it will land for many of you.
I recently moved through a season of grief, and in the stillness of it, my guides showed me something I hadn't seen. I have always known Source loves me. I stream that golden light constantly. But what I hadn't been doing was letting enough of it actually absorb into me. I'd been so busy pouring out — for my family, for my clients, for the planet — that I wasn't receiving back. Source was saying, let me pour into you, and I was saying, I've got it, I'm strong enough, I'll handle it.
Sound familiar?
Here's the thing I want you to hear: it is never Source's love that's in question. Source loves you constantly, eternally, without condition. The challenge is always on our end — the woundings, the bindings, the distortions that say otherwise, that make us unable to feel it or let it in.
So worthiness isn't really about convincing Source you deserve something. It's about clearing what's between you and the love that's already pouring toward you.

Start with "Enough"
If "I am worthy" feels too big to say right now, start smaller. Start with enoughness.
Not perfection — enoughness. Being incarnated here, being present in this life, is already enough. You may want to improve, grow, and get better — that's beautiful, that's the path. But as you are, right now, you are enough.
And if you don't believe it yet, say it anyway. Start repatterning. I am enough because I am a soul, and I come from the light. You are not lying to yourself when you say this. You're simply telling yourself the truth your soul has always known, until the rest of you catches up.
———
Catch the lie in the act. When "I'm not worthy" or "I'm not enough" surfaces this week, pause and name it: That's not mine. That's the lie. You don't have to argue with it — just stop agreeing with it.
Say it anyway. Each morning: "Because I am a soul, birthed in the light, I am worthy. I am enough." Belief follows repetition. Start where you are.
Ask the reflective question. Sit with this one — it opens so much: Who would I be if I actually received? Let the answer surprise you.
Widen your definition of riches. Name one non-financial richness you've been denying yourself — rest, support, softness, joy — and let yourself have a small taste of it this week.
Let it land in the body. When love, help, or a compliment comes to you, don't deflect. Take a breath and consciously let it travel all the way down. Practice absorbing instead of only streaming out.
Let Source pour in. Once this week, ask for nothing and simply receive. "I am happy to be loved." Say it a few times and notice what stirs.
———
You get to have what your soul desires in this life. You just do. Let yourself have it.
I love you. I see you. And I promise — you have never, not for one single moment, had to earn your worth. It came with your soul. It's been yours the entire time.
If this landed somewhere tender, a few episodes of The Soul Essence Podcast go right to the heart of it. Our newest episode, Episode 42 :: The Light of Your Soul, explores how every relationship in your life mirrors your relationship with Source — including the ways we quietly refuse to let that love all the way in. Episode 30 :: FAQ - The Art of Receiving: Blocks, Chakras & Divine Co-Creation is the essential one here, reframing receiving as a state of wanting from the soul rather than the ego, and walking through what actually blocks it. And Episode 36 :: Self Love While in Service: Moving Beyond the Martyr speaks directly to the belief that you must earn your place through sacrifice.
And if you're feeling called to work one-on-one with me to clear the blocks that have been keeping you from receiving what's yours, my booking page is always open to you.
